Americans train Syrian fighters

- American soldiers have begun the training of dozens of Syrian opposition fighters who fight against terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). The training is part of a new program in the fight against IS, the US military announced Friday.

Colonel Steve Warren, a Baghdad-based spokesman for the US-led coalition fighting against IS, said that none of the Syrian fighters still had completed the training.
