- It seems that the relocation of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will take some time. According to US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, the embassy is not 'moving this year, and probably not next year.'
Donald Trump instructed the US State Department in Washington on Wednesday to begin the relocation process of the embassy. However, the move is unlikely to take place before 2019, Tillerson told Friday in Paris after meeting his French colleague Jean-Yves Le Drian.
According to Tillerson, another location has to be found, a building must be designed and permits must be requested. After that, construction can only be started, writes CNN.
