

Amazon headphones hear your name

- Many Americans, but increasingly Dutch, wear noise-canceling headphone, or a headset that blocks outside noise. Silence is pleasant in the train or a plane, but tough on the road. And that's why Amazon is working on a smart variant. That switches off when someone calls your name for example. Then the area is immediately heard.
CNN and CNET write about the discovery. Amazon has a few weeks ago received a patent for smart headphones. The system is similar to Siri, the voice assistant. It is not known when the device comes on the market, or Amazon there even is a product of.
