'Allo' Allo!-acteur Gordon Kaye (75) deceased

- Actor Gordon Kaye is deceased at the age of 75. He became known for his role in the BBC sitcom 'Allo' Allo !, where he took on the illustrious role of René Artois.

The former agent Kaye has confirmed to the BBC that he is deceased Monday in a nursing home. The actor played café owner Artois in the Second World War in occupied France by Germany. He appeared in all 84 episodes.

His last role as an actor was in the BBC sketch Revolver in 2004.
