Albanian kills eight family members

tirana - A 24-year-old Albanian killed eight of his relatives with a Kalashnikov in Selenica in South Albania on Friday. There are two children among the victims.

The man was arrested on Saturday after a large police investigation. The murder would be the result of a quarrel about family property that got out of hand.

It is unclear how the man got into the gun. It would be the most serious massacre of the past twenty years in Albania.
