jakarta - The airport of the Indonesian tourist island of Bali is closed until Friday at 1 pm Dutch time due to the emission of volcanic ash. This is caused by an eruption of the volcano Agung that blows a 2.5 km high smoke plume, says an employee from the local emergency service.
Agung more often causes disruption of air traffic on Bali. Last year November there were no flights to and from the island for two days due to an eruption of this volcano.
