Agent shot during control in Spa

spa - A Belgian officer was shot in the night from Saturday to Sunday during a traffic control in the Belgian municipality of Spa (province of Liège). The police are searching with all their might for the perpetrator or perpetrators, reports Belga news agency on the basis of sources.

The 38-year-old policeman was attacked from a vehicle around 02:00 at night. Three people would have been in there. Nothing has yet been published about the reason for the shooting. It is also unclear whether one or more shots have been fired.

The police called a trauma helicopter afterwards, but the aid was no longer useful. The center of Spa has been deposited. A police helicopter has also been deployed.
