Advisor Trump cell in to lie to FBI

washington - George Papadopoulos, a former campaign advisor to US President Donald Trump, was sentenced to fourteen days in prison on Friday. He also gets 200 hours of community service, comes under supervision for a year and has to pay a fine of 9500 dollars (8200 euros). Papadopoulos has admitted that he lied to the FBI about contacts with Russia during his work on the Trump campaign.

Papadopoulos is the second person from the entourage of Trump who is convicted. Earlier, the Dutch lawyer Alex van der Zwaan received 30 days in prison. Campaign manager Paul Manafort was found guilty of bank fraud, but he still needs to hear his punishment.
