Action for new referendum on Brexit

Action for new referendum on Brexit

World June 24, 2016 14:33

london - Opponents call the Brexit an Internet campaign for a repeat of the referendum on EU membership. The action took Friday afternoon much more than the required 100,000 signatures to 'put down' the proposal in the parliament agenda. The British Parliament is therefore likely to soon hold a debate on the proposal.

The initiators believe that in important matters such as EU membership, must meet a referendum minimum requirements. They argue that to a rise of less than three quarters of voters requires a majority of 60 percent to the outcome of the referendum policy. With only 52 percent of voters leaving the union, Brexit, the government should not break ties with Brussels. The website of the parliament, where the petition can be signed, lay flat Friday some time by the huge interest.

The idea to adjust the outcome of a referendum on a new referendum is not new in the Brexit discussion. Earlier even suggested the pro-Brexit frontman Boris Johnson an additional referendum on the actual outcome of negotiations with Brussels on termination of membership. He left the plan sail fast, but proponents of membership smell opportunity. They think negotiate a lost first referendum after a few years of 'to vote away in a second.

They have suggested that proponents of brexit a few years will vote against the treaty of withdrawal, because the text of the treaty, they do not like it or because they have been brought by the economic downturns in mind.
