Abdeslam suspected of shooting Brussels

brussels - Terror Suspect Salah Abdeslam is suspected of involvement in a shooting in the Brussels municipality of Vorst said last month, four officers were injured. The shooting took place on March 15 when a Belgian-French police team wanted to do a search. They had hardly knocked when they were shot with a Kalashnikov.

After a sniper of the police had shot dead knew Abdeslam and escaping a co-accused Algerian terror suspect Mohamed Belkaid from the building at the Three Street. They were arrested three days later in Molenbeek, four days before the terrorist attacks in Brussels.

Abdeslam was questioned Thursday by Justice. His lawyer Sven Mary said that the interrogation was not about the attacks.

Abdeslam stuck in Belgium on suspicion of involvement in the attacks in Paris in November. He can be extradited is expected next month to the French authorities.
