'Abdeslam had IS flag on Facebook '

brussels - Terror Suspect Salah Abdeslam IS would have posted on his Facebook page a flag terror group three weeks before the attacks in Paris.

The Belgian authorities would have been aware of it, but nothing would be done with that information, reported the French-language public broadcaster RTBF Tuesday.

Abdeslam set on October 23, 2015 the symbol of Islamic State on his page. The Unit for Coordination and the Threat Analysis, Belgian anti-terror coordinator, was not noticed this, but the police and intelligence services would not have acted accordingly.

Abdeslam is seen as one of the perpetrators of the bloody attacks in Paris on 13 November. He escaped and was arrested on 18 March in the Brussels commune of Molenbeek. Four days later, there were attacks in Brussels. Abdeslam was extradited to France.
