17 mummies discovered in old graftombe

minya - Egyptian archaeologists have certainly discovered seventeen mummies in a centuries-old tomb near the city of Minya, 250 kilometers south of Cairo. Most bodies are completely intact. The Ministry of Antiquities announced the finding on Saturday.
The graftombe was discovered last year by students of Cairo University, who were searching for remains of ancient civilizations with radar. The tomb is 8 meters below the ground. The mummies are not dated yet, but they are expected to have been there since the Greek-Roman period.
