Walmart says sorry for gun promotion students

The large American supermarket chain Walmart has apologized for an arrangement in one of the branches that promoted firearms as back-to-school products.

On Wednesday, a picture was taken with a large glass of guns filled display box above which the text 'start the school year as a hero' was placed viral. Against CNN, a Walmart spokesman said the remarkable promotion was condemned.

'We are not happy about this and we are investigating what our business is responsible for, so we can remove the text from the weapon box,' said the spokesman. Through social media, Walmart also responded to the pictures. The supermarket chain mentioned in the comments the display 'really terrible' and 'horrible. '

It's not the first time Walmart comes in the news with at least unfortunately chosen marketing strategies. In September, a branch in Panama City Beach set up boxes of cola that had to be proposed by the World Trade Center in memory of the Twin Towers attack on September 11, 2001. In 2014, Walmart apologized for selling a fat girl 'Costume for Halloween.
