Victims attack catch bone at court US

American survivors of an attack in Jerusalem have caught a bone before the American Supreme Court.

The Americans were injured in 1997 by a suicide attack in Israel. They accused Iran of complicity and got the same from a US court, which awarded the victims compensation of more than $ 71 million. The Iranians did not make that money, after which the Americans dropped their eyes on a valuable collection with Persian artefacts.

Earlier, a lower court also forbade the seizure of the collection, which includes clay tablets. The ruling of the Supreme Court may also have consequences for similar cases in which victims of overseas attacks demand the sale of cultural heritage from foreign governments.
