US is considering action against China

The White House is considering taking measures against the deployment of military equipment by China on islands in the South China Sea.

The American channel CNBC came on Thursday with the news that Beijing, without notifying it there, placed cruise missiles and anti-aircraft on three disputed islands. The launch platforms have been laid out in a month. According to US intelligence services, missiles can be fired which can hit ships 500 kilometers away.

Chinese activities in the area are sensitive. Beijing claims to many of the countries in the region a large part of the busy shipping waters. The South China Sea is rich in fish, petroleum and natural gas and therefore of great economic significance.
