Trump wants Americans on the moon again

President Donald Trump will sign an order to bring Americans to the moon again, ahead of a manned mission to Mars.

Spokesman Hogan Gidley said that Trump with its 'Space Policy Directive 1' asks the national space agency NASA to take the lead in an innovative space research program to send American astronauts to the moon again, and ultimately to Mars.

That was the recommendation of the advisory board, which Trump called for the space program earlier this year. 'The president wants to change the policy on manned space travel to ensure that America becomes the driving force for the space industry, gaining new knowledge about the cosmos and initiating incredible technology,' said Gidley.
