Shooter could buy weapon by wrong air force

The US Air Force has failed to report to the civilian authorities that Devin Patrick Kelley was previously convicted.

The air force confirms to CNN that Kelley's past has never been introduced into a national information system. Before anyone can buy a weapon, his name is first retrieved in a database. Because Kelley's criminal past has never been introduced, his name did not come true when he bought his weapon in San Francisco in 2016.

The former military was previously convicted of the abuse of his wife and child by the war council. At first he was accused of pointing a weapon to his wife and child. Because he had been blamed for abuse, it was decided to withdraw the other charges.
