Russian opposition leader Navalni released

After spending about three weeks in prison, Russian opposition leader Aleksej Navalni was released.

Navalni was detained at the end of September and sentenced to twenty days celestial conviction for political meetings without permission.

Aleksej Navalni holds a pronounced opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He hopes to be able to go to the presidency of Russia in the 2018 elections.

The European Court of Human Rights (EHRM) ruled last week that Russia Navalni and his brother have to pay tens of thousands of euros. The brothers were found guilty of fraud and money laundering in their own country. Aleksej received a conditional celestial sentence; his brother had to enter the cell for more than three years. According to the court, the duo in its own country had no fair trial.
