Mysterious balls engulf Syberisch beach

Large, round, white snowballs.

The big snowballs seem man-made and filed, but according to Russians who live in the area or not. They point to a natural phenomenon.

Yet the phenomenon is also a surprise for the locals. They have Nyda, a town north of the Arctic Circle, never seen anything like it. Social media appear different pictures of the beach full of white snowballs.

How the balls are formed, is not yet say for sure, but there are theories. According to the Arctic research has to do with a combination of the wind, ice formation and the temperature.
