Melbourne attack claims sixth life

The stop of a motorist on dozens of pedestrians in the Australian city of Melbourne on Monday claimed a sixth life.

The police also reported that a total of 37 injured people have been treated in hospitals. Nine still stay there, one of whom is in critical condition.

A 26-year-old man drove ten days ago deliberate on pedestrians in the center of Melbourne. The suspect, who was shot in the arm by the police, has a history of drug use, violence and mental health problems. According to the police he had no terrorist motive.
