Kremlin denies role in Skripal attack

The Russian government has nothing to do with the attack on an ex-agent, Sergej Skripal.

Russia has asserted from the outset that it has no interest in poisoning the former Russian double spy who had been living in southern England for eight years. The government of British Prime Minister Theresa May has accused the Kremlin of involvement.

Earlier this week May labeled the Kremlin as the client. That was when researchers performed the photos of two main suspects. According to the British police, these are two agents of the Russian military intelligence service. Russia is willing to help look for the two if London makes a formal request.
