Killer Miss Honduras 45 years old
Three years after the rumor of murder of Miss Honduras and her sister, the perpetrator is sentenced to 45 years in prison.
Plutarco Ruíz shot the women on September 13, 2014 at his birthday party. That happened after he had quarreled with his girlfriend Sophia Alvarado, the older sister of beauty queen María José Alvarado. They would have drunk allie too much.
Plutarco first became angry when his girlfriend went to dance with another man and later opened the fire when she wanted to leave angry. When Mary José crossed the body of her dying sister, Plutarco shot again and killed her too.
He managed to get accomplice Aris Maldonado to help him bury the bodies in a remote place. In addition, he managed to act as if the two sisters had left a car and disappeared. Co-workers and eyewitnesses apparently also had their mouths while the country was looking for Miss Honduras.
Two months after the murder, in November 2014, Ruíz was known and the bodies were found on his directions.
