British universities have already been hit hard by Brexit

The crème de la crème of British universities and research institutes is already being hit hard by Brexit.

Famous universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, the London School of Economics report a drop of five percent for course enrollments and even nine percent for research. The universities warn the government that they will need decades to recover from the blow caused by Brexit. The joint universities contribute 27 billion euros to the economy and some 950,000 people work there.
