Army Iraq also gets Mosuldam in hand

The Iraqi forces took over more areas previously owned by Kurdish warriors.

It was known in the province not to fight between men of the central government in Baghdad and the Kurds. Kurdish warriors (Peshmaras) retreated before the military arrived on Tuesday, the army suggested a day later.

The Iraqi forces started their march earlier this week. They took over disputed areas in the north of the country, including the oily region of Kirkuk. The Iraqi oil minister said Wednesday, asking oil company BP to 'make plans to develop the oilfields at Kirkuk.'
