Archaeologists find mummy in Luxor tomb

Archaeologists have found a more than 3,500-year-old mummy in Egypt in one of the two tombs, which are being investigated.

The tombs were found some twenty years ago, but now excavated for the first time. 'It is truly an exceptional day,' said Minister of Antiquities, Khaled al-Anani.

The tombs are located near Luxor, near the temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings. Whose they are is not known. It may be high-ranking officials.

Furthermore, figurines, wooden masks and colorful murals were found.
