US Homeland Security Mistake

Several Ukrainian residents in the US received emails stating their status was revoked by mistake. Homeland Security clarified the error and confirmed the humanitarian program remains active.

  • Homeland Security issued a follow-up email retracting the incorrect departure order.

The number of affected individuals remains unknown. The Trump administration had reportedly considered revoking legal status for around 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict with Russia. White House spokesperson previously labeled the reports as fake news.
