savannah, georgia, us - A woman from Georgia, US, files a lawsuit against an IVF clinic for mistakenly implanting another couple's embryo resulting in the birth of a different race baby.

IVF Clinic Faces Lawsuit Over Embryo Mix-Up

Krystena Murray, a 38-year-old woman from Georgia, discovered a shocking mistake after giving birth to a baby of a different race than herself and the chosen sperm donor. She sought to conceive a child with the help of Coastal Fertility Specialists, an IVF clinic operating in South Carolina and Georgia.

Upon realizing the baby was not biologically related to her, Murray contacted the clinic, leading to the identification of the biological parents. Subsequent DNA tests confirmed the baby belonged to them. Murray returned the child to the rightful parents after five months, expressing her emotional turmoil at a press conference.

The lawsuit targets the IVF clinic for the error, with Murray seeking compensation. The clinic described the incident as an isolated one and took immediate steps to prevent future occurrences, ensuring the safety of their patients.
