Israeli army kills Palestinian attacker

- The Israeli army on Sunday shot dead a Palestinian who had attacked a checkpoint in the West Bank. According to the army the Palestinian opened fire on the post and three soldiers were injured. Two are in danger.

The incident was between Ramallah and the Jewish settlement of Beit El. Last week, in the settlement of a woman killed by an attack on a supermarket. The two Palestinians who carried out this attack, were shot dead by security people.

The past four months has killed at least 25 Israelis in attacks killed and at least 160 Palestinians have been slain
