kyrgyzstan - The Kyrgyzstan government has announced that education institutions associated with FETÖ have been transferred to the Maarif Foundation.

The Kyrgyzstan government announced that education institutions associated with FETÖ have been transferred to the Maarif Foundation. Edil Baysalov, Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyzstan Cabinet of Ministers, stated that the transfer of SAPAT educational institutions to the management of the Maarif Foundation will best serve the interests of students and parents.

According to an official statement on the Kyrgyzstan government's website, Edil Baysalov met with Hüsnü Bircan, the representative of the Turkish Maarif Foundation in Kyrgyzstan, and his delegation at the Presidential Palace.

Baysalov emphasized that the Maarif Foundation has consistently maintained high-quality education standards both nationally and internationally during its five-year operation in Kyrgyzstan. He expressed confidence that the transfer of the SAPAT network's management will significantly improve the educational conditions and comprehensive development opportunities for students and parents.

Baysalov stressed the importance of strictly adhering to the laws during the transition to the new management, ensuring the protection of the rights of school staff, and guaranteeing the continuity of the education process.

Bircan, the representative of the Maarif Foundation in Kyrgyzstan, stated that in the coming months, the Foundation plans to attract significant investments for the development of Kyrgyzstan's education infrastructure.

He mentioned plans to expand the school network, introduce modern technologies and educational programs, and create new opportunities for students to promote sustainable development in the country and strengthen Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation in the field of education.

In Kyrgyzstan, education institutions associated with FETÖ started operating under the name SEBAT Educational Institutions in 1992. The educational institutions were later renamed SAPAT (quality) to align with Turkey's fight against FETÖ.
