Man Executed for Deadly Attack

The 62-year-old Fan Weiqiu drove into a group of people at a sport complex on November 11. The attack resulted in 35 deaths and 43 injuries, marking it as the deadliest in China since 2014.

Fan was arrested immediately after the incident. According to Xinhua news agency, he was angry about the way his divorce was handled and admitted to intentionally driving into the crowd.
