- Galatasaray considers signing Manchester City's Ederson along with two other goalkeepers as they aim to strengthen their squad for the Champions League.

Galatasaray Considers Ederson for Goalkeeper Position

Galatasaray is targeting Manchester City's Ederson, alongside Yann Sommer from Inter Milan and Diogo Costa from FC Porto, to reinforce their squad for the upcoming Champions League campaign.

Transfer Deadline Approaching

The Turkish club has prioritized securing a goalkeeper and a defender before the transfer window closes in Turkey on Sept. 11. However, players eligible for the Champions League must be registered by Sept. 2.

Ederson's Future in Question

Manchester City values Ederson at £13m to £15m with one year left on his contract. While City aims to retain him, Galatasaray is hopeful of a potential deal. Meetings have occurred between intermediaries since August.

Possible Replacement with Donnarumma

If Ederson departs, City may turn to Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is seeking a move to the Premier League from PSG. Donnarumma demands a £250,000-a-week salary with a transfer fee ranging from £25m to £35m.
