

Belgian king visits Molenbeek

brussels - The Belgian king Filip Wednesday visited the Brussels municipality of Sint-Jans-Molenbeek. Some of the terrorists involved in the attacks in Paris had a bond with this town or lived there.
The king wants his visit to draw attention to positive aspects of Molenbeek, Belgian media report. Filip instance, took a look at the training of supermarket chain Lidl.
The cash-strapped municipality Molenbeek lies at the center of Brussels and employs about 100 000 people, mostly migrants. Mayor Françoise Schepmans said a few days after the deadly attacks of November 13 which projects to the radicalization of young people in Molenbeek dampen many have started too late.
