antwerp, belgium - Tom Waes makes his first public appearance on Instagram after the serious accident, where Bart Peeters sends his heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery.

Tom Waes resurfaced on Instagram for the first time since the recent accident, sharing a video of Bart Peeters' concert at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. Peeters dedicated a special message for Waes before his performance, wishing him a quick recovery. Waes expressed gratitude and appreciation for the kind gesture with three red heart emojis.

The incident occurred when Waes, driving his green oldtimer towards Gent from Antwerp, collided with a row of stationary cars intended to divert traffic due to road works near the Kennedytunnel. After hitting the second vehicle, his Porsche ended up in the middle lane of the ring road. Despite requiring on-site resuscitation, Waes regained consciousness on Saturday, breathing independently and reuniting with his family.
