Prime Italian Italy quarrels between Lega and M5S

The two leaders of the Italian coalition government are talking about plans in the controversial budget of the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Labor and Industry, Luigi Di Maio, said angrily in a TV program on Wednesday evening that extra tax measures have been drawn up which he is not aware of. Di Maio leads the Eurosceptic protest party M5S (Five Star Movement) which forms an uneasy coalition with the right-wing populist Lega of Matteo Salvini who is also deputy prime minister.

The two have fallen into each other's arms with a budget that was approved by the Cabinet on Monday and sent to the European Commission.
