Poison attack on leader opposition Venezuela

The attack on the Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado was intended to inject her with a deadly, slow-acting poison.

Machado was visited last week, while visiting the southern Venezuelan city of Upata, threatened by eighty armed supporters of President Nicolas Maduro. Some of them knew Machado, better known as MCM in Venezuela, to sell a few big bangs on her nose and head. She was also pulled to her ponytail.
