Minors leave coast guard ship Italy

Dozens of young migrants have after a few days left the Italian coast guard ship in the port of Catania.

The ship took the migrants from the sea last week. The Italian government then asked Brussels to find EU member states to receive them. Only then Minister Matteo Salvini (Home Affairs) wants to have the migrants disembarked. The politician of anti-immigration party Lega thinks that his country has already received enough asylum seekers and refugees.

Médecins Sans Frontières has called on the authorities to disembark the passengers as soon as possible. They have traveled through Libya and have had a 'horrible sea trip', according to the aid organization. He warns that migrants need medical and psychological help.
