Heart-warming: 99-year-old gets a love letter that was on seabed for 77 years

A 99-year-old great-grandmother from Great Britain received a handwritten love letter from a soldier with whom she was engaged during the Second World War.

Phyllis Ponting never thought to hear from Bill Walker, her beloved back then. She never received an answer to her last love letters. But in an astonishing way his answer has reached the lady, because it has emerged along with 700 other letters from the sunken freighter 'SS Gairsoppa'.
