Grandmother (42) gave birth to twentieth child

A 42-year-old woman from Jerusalem gave birth to her twentieth child, a boy, on Wednesday.

The child was born naturally in the Hadassah hospital. The staff was very surprised when the ultra-orthodox Jewish woman indicated she liked for the 19th time, writes Jerusalem Post. She previously had twins. Within a few hours the woman, who is also a grandmother next to her mother, could hold her son.

The hospital says it often helps women who have many children, but it seems that the 42-year-old woman has delivered a record to the hospital. According to the head of the obstetrics and gynecology department, a woman gave birth to her 19th baby in 2007, but there was no twentieth child.
