Google buys health test smartphones

Google buys a company that develops apps that can measure people's health through the smartphone.

Senosis Health was founded by doctors and programmers at the University of Washington State in Seattle. The company has created apps like SpiroSmart, SpiroCall, HemaApp and OsteoApp. These measure, for example, lung function and blood values via camera, microphone and sensors.

Google has been working on health technology for a long time. In 2015, the company established a special department, Verily, for research.
