Egyptian gang was smuggling 40 people per night

The Belgian police this week arrested an Egyptian gang of smugglers.

For that hefty amounts were to be counted down. The criminal organization used violence against the smuggled and rival gangs. The victims were also placed in refrigeration and air tankers.

In parking lots and on Monday and Tuesday sixteen gang members were arrested in twelve raids in Brussels among others. Also, 38 people were found without valid papers. 215 police officers took part in the action.

The detention of fifteen detainees has been extended. Previously, all rolled up include Kurdish people and Ukrainian gangs in Belgium.
