Drunken machinist rushes past station

A drunken driver went by a train from Hamburg to Leipzig to a station where he should have stopped.

The incident was Tuesday night. At the next stop at Bitterfeld, 30 kilometers north of the final destination in Leipzig, the driver stopped. He was removed from the train by the agents there. In an alcohol test, the train driver appeared to have an alcohol concentration of 2.5. The German railways then sent another driver to Bitterfeld. The ICE train finally arrived with a delay of 65 minutes in Leipzig.
