- The US Justice Department is investigating the police in Chicago after a white cop in the city had killed a black teenager. That said a source at the ministry Sunday. It examines whether the police regularly has violated the constitution.
The deadly shooting was in October last year. Footage of the incident were released last week. Thousands of people then went to Chicago to the streets to protest against police violence.
Agent Jason Van Dyke, is accused of murdering the black 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. A judge ruled that the agent should not be released on bail. Van Dyke would have shot sixteen times on the teen.
