- The Chief Constable of the South Yorkshire Police David Crompton Wednesday put on hold. His suspension is a result of the devastating verdict of the jury that investigated the Hillsborough tragedy.

During a cup match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Sheffield in 1989 were 96 football supporters by oppression killed. Cause was a series of mistakes of agents who had to guard the security in the stadium.

The police which Crompton was in charge, was quite criticized for his attitude during the preliminary inquiry. Own role was marginalized in the drama. In reality, the police appeared in all walks before and have failed in the clash. The fans of both clubs was blameless.
