amersfoort - Six cars were set on fire in the neighborhood of Liendert in Amersfoort overnight, with police suspecting arson.
During the night of Friday to Saturday, six cars were set on fire in Amersfoort's Liendert neighborhood. The police believe the fires were most likely an act of arson.
The fires originated on Geelgorsstraat, where one car caught fire and caused damage to another car parked next to it. The other car fires occurred on Wulpstraat, Kraanvogelstraat, and Leeuwerikstraat. The final cars were set alight between Wiekslag and Leeuwerikstraat.
Police have not made any arrests yet and are currently investigating the incidents.
