Lassa fever at doctor in USA

atlanta - An American doctor with symptoms of the dangerous Lassa fever recorded in a special isolation ward at a hospital in Atlanta. The man was Friday in a special plane from the West African country of Togo transferred to the hospital in the US city.

The doctor worked as a missionary in Togo. He is a department where previously successfully treated four people at an Ebola infection. Lassakoort is highly contagious and causes bleeding.
