Huge Roman camp discovered

hannover - Archaeologists have south of Hannover, Germany, discovered the remains of a huge Roman encampment . The camp dates from around the year zero and could seat about 20,000 soldiers.
The scientists from the University of Osnabrück mention the discovery of the 30 -hectare camp sensation. It is the first large camp that was discovered on the North German Plain .
When excavations were found among more nails for sandals and copper coins that were used specifically as soldiers money . This kind of camps was evening specially erected after a ( day) march of the Roman army.
