paris - A former schoolgirl confessed to lying about her teacher, which led to the brutal murder of French teacher Samuel Paty.

The former schoolgirl admitted to not being present in class on the day when her teacher showed Charlie Hebdo cartoons of Prophet Mohammed. She confessed to lying to her surroundings for days, ultimately leading to the brutal murder of Samuel Paty.

Gaëlle Paty, the sister of the murdered teacher, rejected the girl's apologies stating lack of sincerity. The father of the girl, Brahim Chnina, listened silently as he faces a 30-year prison sentence for his involvement in the online hate campaign against Samuel Paty.

An investigation revealed how Brahim Chnina and Abdelhakim Sefrioui initiated a hate campaign against Samuel Paty, providing detailed information that led to the murder. The messages and videos of the two men formed the core of the case.

On November 25, the court analyzed the messages and videos, highlighting how the initial online hate campaign led to threats against the teacher and the school he worked at.
