Researchers Find 'Compelling Evidence' of Possible Noah's Ark Remains

An international group of researchers is making progress in identifying potential remains of Noah's Ark at the Durupınar site in Eastern Turkey.

Recent Discoveries

Recent soil samples collected by the organization Noah’s Ark Scans show higher levels of organic material and potassium, indicating a unique structure beneath the surface.

Archaeological Analysis

Lead archaeologist Andrew Jones highlighted that the 'boat-shaped object' contains significantly more carbon than the surrounding area, suggesting a man-made structure.

Structural Details

The formation measures 157 meters long, matching the Biblical dimensions of Noah's Ark. Previous ground radar scans revealed underground structures resembling chambers or passageways.

Future Research

While no excavations are planned for this year, the team will continue non-destructive techniques, geophysical measurements, and potential core drillings next year to further explore the site.
