Major Bus Accident in Barcelona

At least 51 individuals were injured in Barcelona as two tourist buses collided on Avinguda Diagonal. The incident left four individuals in critical condition. The injured include tourists from Britain, Germany, and Italy, as reported by The Sun.

The collision occurred when one bus, parked to pick up passengers, was hit from behind by the other bus, according to Vice Mayor Albert Batlle.

The injured are receiving treatment in various hospitals, with the most severely injured being a pedestrian and a 17-year-old bus passenger. The buses were transporting passengers from a cruise ship and a group of Italian students, along with multiple British and German nationals who required assistance.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
