Dog Found Barking on Top of Giza Pyramids Leaves Social Media Baffled

cairo - An influencer captured a surprising moment as a dog climbed on top of one of the Giza pyramids in Egypt, sparking various reactions on social media.

A man flying with a paraglider over the Giza pyramids in Egypt on Monday was astonished to see a dog perched on top. Influencer Marshall Mosher shared a video on Instagram of the peculiar sight. 'A dog has climbed all the way up to the great pyramid of Giza!' he wrote in amazement.

Many social media users on Instagram joked that Mosher had encountered Anubis, the Egyptian god of the underworld, who is depicted with a dog's head. The dog was hence dubbed 'Anubis Pup'.

Others expressed concerns about the animal's well-being. Fortunately, Mosher later shared footage of the dog safely back on the ground.
